  3. Quite interesting blog. I wasn't expecting a music blog. :)

    While I like all music, jazz isn't my favorite. Funny thing is I never like any music I listen to the first time, even music I buy. I have to listen to it many, many times. So, guess, I'll be back to listen to more. I am intrigued that you have created music using reddit.

    Do you have a group? Or do you apply many musical groupings to create a song with reddit? That would be quite fascinating to do this.

    The oboe and the other reed instruments were kind of sluggish and muted which is the reason I found it to be strange. Strange isn't exactly a great description I would necessarily use. Odd, maybe.

    Maybe, I am reading way too much into it. Jazz is dischordant and that is how I am feeling right now after listening to this piece.

    There, I've said it. Now, I'm off to listen to your other music.

  4. @Tanvi:
    Thank you for the kind words, and for posting my song on your blog.

    @Deepika:
    Thank you for the encouragement!

    @Sixthirtythree:
    Wow, what a long comment! You took the time to write all this.

    That's what I appreciate about reddit: there are people there who took the time to listen to my evolving piece and give me invaluable feedback.

    As for not liking the music while listening for the first time, I absolutely know what you are talking about. Often, the ear needs to get used to a piece before it can appreciate it.

    You are welcome to listen as much as you like and bring your friends :)
